Born & raised in Bridgewater, the south shore is in Shawn's blood. Shawn grew up watching his grandfather be self-employed his entire life, owning and running many properties in Halifax, then eventually trickling down to the South Shore. This enabled his family to have the entrepreneurial spirits guide their lives as both Shawn & his brother grew up on this beautiful slice of Nova Scotia, attending Parkview High School and playing on the basketball team.
After childhood, Shawn had plans to join the RCMP. With his better judgement, he decided SMU business with a major in finance would be the avenue he pursued. Spending his time living in Halifax for university and for the few years after working for Medavie. Shawn then elected to ship out to London, Ontario for a few years, taking a job at Davis Martindale.
Shawn has since returned to the South Shore, moving into the home three doors down from the one that he grew up in. Now working remotely for Davis Martindale out of CO3, Shawn is always on-hand to hear the diverse stories of the folks who work out of the space, and to help answer any financial questions. The problem is, after working out of the space for so long, he's finding their work & stories more interesting then his own!
