Kristen O’Keefe is the founding lawyer of O’Keefe Law (www.okeefelaw.ca) which is going into its 4th year of operation. Kristen is originally from Newfoundland & Labrador but moved to Halifax in 2011 after working as a Crown Prosecutor for 5 years and then Executive Director of Public Legal Information Association of NL for another 5 years. Upon moving to Nova Scotia, she decided to go into private practice with a law firm for a number of years but her entrepreneurial spirit prompted her to branch out with her own law firm in January 2016. Kristen moved to the beautiful south shore approximately 1.5 years ago to try it out and has decided to make it her permanent home. O’Keefe Law focusses on providing exceptional service at an affordable price. Kristen takes great pride in explaining legal processes and options in ways that her clients truly understand. Her main areas of practice are business law, wills & estates and real estate. Helping small business owners navigate legal processes and contracts is a particular passion of hers. She is excited to open an office at CO3 and to also do some work from the Hub. She is a true people person and welcomes the opportunity to meet the other members of the co-working community.
